Pull-ahead programs?

yeah they do. just have to pay tags again and there’s some fine print on lease protection as to what coverage you lose on extention.

Where do I go to find out the current money factor on a 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT 4x4 Crew Cab? Heading to my local GMC dealer later to see what’s what with a deal they have for current GMC lessees for that specific vehicle. TIA.

Edmunds. They are quick to respond when you ask, just don’t ask for 8 permutations at once (e.g. 24 and 36 months, SLT - quad and crew, 4x2 and 4x4) - they’ll make you reduce the scope.

Current dealer lease buyout price is MORE than the CarMax appraisal. Is that to my favor?

No. You need to pay GMC more than carmax is paying you.

No biggie if you’re in a state like PA where you pay 42/year and can transfer to a new car. Another CA screwing lol

I would do an appraisal thru carvana and vroom and if its higher than what residual you owe, why not cash in on the deal? I dont think pull ahead program is beneficial overall if you are making money by selling it. I have never seen a dealer give a fair buy out value especially when they call you in for pull ahead deals (if any exist).

How far below your payoff is the Carmax bid? The payoff being higher is good because it means you didn’t pay enough depreciation in your lease, which is GM’s problem vs yours. Your payment would have been higher had the residual been lower. That’s one of the good things about leasing.

I’d look for the pull ahead and do a deal sooner rather than later to avoid getting charged for tires. Look to see how much tread you’re required to return the car with- probably 4/32" or more across the whole tire. You probably won’t get charged for brakes unless there’s a grinding sound…

I’d see if you have the option to make 1 or 2 payments to pull ahead the pull ahead. You could think of it as paying for some tires if you were going to get hit up for them later vs now, anyway.

Part of the equation is what you could get now/soon vs later. Will you get a truck you like better? Will you get a substantially lower rate and/or payment?

I have one of these, was wondering if the cash allowance is stackable with loyalty/conquest?

Got the exact same flyer for my 2017 Buick Encore. My lease isn’t due up until June, but I’m not a fan of the car - just too small. Considering the Enclave though. I was also wondering if the pull ahead stacks with loyalty.

that is a legit pull-ahead offer. depending on the car looks like it stacks with conquest/loyalty but may not stack with other regional incentives. just depends what car & what month.
a lot of time people get “buy out your car” or “turn in early” DEALER ad mailers. this one is legit from GM.

Used mine last month. Gm paid 4 months on my malibu and got a total of $3,500 rebates/incentives on a 2019 equinox. Now i miss the mpg on the malibu :frowning:

Is there a pattern to GM pull ahead offers? I have one that looks like the screenshots in this thread but I’m 8 months out. The offer expires this month. What can I expect when I’m 3 months out? I’m in a Volt.

I’ve had 3 so far and my lease is up in June. Got one in Nov that expired Nov, one in Dec that expired Jan, and another in Feb that expires Feb. :man_shrugging:
