Proposed Lease on 2025 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4XE

Hey everyone, I could use some help on my first lease!

Im getting 27k off MSRP which is great but im trying to figure out if im getting screwed on the lease. My intent is to get financing and exit the lease in the next 3-4 months. To get the full 27k (tax rebates included) I have to lease first.

What does the community think? Is this a good deal or what parts should I be negotiating more?
This would be the 4th car I buy from the dealership and when purchasing with them in the past I’ve always gotten great deals! This time it’s a lease and not familiar with the math involved.

24 months is the promoted term currently and will result in a better lease. This looks super high. Added a sample calc that is probably a fair estimation of a reasonable lease

Thanks! What part do I need to negotiate to get closer to your numbers?

Theyre most likely doing the lease through Ally to get the extra IDL cash so they can show that big “discount”. That would also be why theyre showing the 48 month option and why the monthly payment is so high relative to the discount. If you are going to do a lease to buy, you want the Ally lease, but do be aware that Ally tends to make buyouts more painful logisticslly.

They did mention using Ally to get all of the discounts. My intention would be to buy in 3-4 months. If I’m willing to deal with Ally logistically to buyout the lease would you say this is something I should pull the trigger on?
Thanks!

Youll need to isolate out the pre-incentive discount so you can properly compare.

2023 model year 4xe Wrangler Saharas are advertised for about 50% of MSRP, so you are likely going to be upside down for awhile if you buy this out in 3-4 months. Why not push for a really low lease payment and just ride it out for 2-3 years?

Don’t sound like a deal to me… How is the monthly payment over $600 a month on $45k… I was got a lease quote on a Wrangler High Altitude at $72k with $3k down for $485 a month and $404 a month with $5k down… These prices are insane…

Like everyone else on here, I agree these should not be purchased or leased with the intent of purchasing brand new. If you’re gonna buy one, get it used as their values have fallen so much.

I leased a $66k 24 Willys for 328/mo 2kDAS. Shoot for 24/27 mo term with SFS. MF better on Willys (.0002), but Sahara have higher residuals depending on options. Albeit this is a 24, I got quoted on a 2025 Willys with no negotiation for $530/mo with 3k DAS from local dealer on 36mo, maybe dealers are pushing the 2025s with Ally?

Do NOT sign on the deal given by dealer. This is an insanely expensive lease for this car.

I think this is too high. If you are transitioning from leasing to buying, your total ownership cost will be approximately:

Final ownership cost: (36 months × $682) + $1,000 cash down + $35,899 residual = approx. $61,000, plus taxes on the residual amount.

On $68k + taxes vehicles, you will eventually end up paying Appox $61k + taxes.

Many dealers around Denver are offering significant discounts on the Wrangler 4xe.

Do you have a breakdown of the discount vs the rebates?

how did this go?

The only reason to consider doing an Ally lease here would be for an immediate buyout, so that math doesn’t apply

How much is discount, how much is lease cash from the bank and how much is the rebate from the state of Colorado?

Could you plz elaborate more on this?

I thought immediate buyout only saves you interest, but still you have to pay residual + taxes + (monthly payments minus interest). True?

Correct, which is not reflected in your math.
