Pro and Cons of Mercedes Extended warranty

Hi All,

I will be buying out my GLC 300 beginning of 2024. I always thought just paying directly to MBFS. However, just started to consider if I should get the car CPOd and get the warranty. Any pros/cons. Also I assume if something fails for the CPO i have to get it fixed. Is that a correct assumption?

Cons: whatever it costs

Can you not just buy a normal extended warranty without having to go through the CPO process?

Also not sure what you mean by being on the hook for anything that fails on the CPO exam. Assuming your car is still under warranty then the dealer should fix them. CPO or not you’re always going to be responsible for normal wear and tear items.
