Pricing Guide Request

Hello Dear Leasehackrs -

I would really appreciate if you can confirm if the current lease pricing that I’m receiving for the vehicles below represent the current market. All prices below are zero down payment, taxes rolled in, 36m/10k, and no security deposits. I’m excluding acquisition cost, registration and doc fees.

  1. MB GLE350 4Matic (MSRP $62k) - $790
  2. Audi Q7 2.0 Premium (MSRP $57k) - $750
  3. VW Atlas SEL Premium V6 (MSRP $51k) - $515

GLE and Q7 seem like a horrible deals, but I know Q7 do not lease well.

I work with local NYC brokers and all provided similar pricing.

Looking for a ballpark. Thank you for your help!

LH is not an input/output machine where you give us a monthly and we tell you if it’s a good deal.

Each of those quoted deals have money factors, residual values, discounts, incentives, local government fees, dealer fees, tax rates, and MSRPs associated with them.

We would need to know those numbers for each of your deals and then we will just ask you “Have you done research on the site and on the internet to compare to other deals of the same make/models/MSRPs?”

What has your research thus far told you? Monthly payment alone tells you nothing. You need all figures to determine the overall cost of the deal.

Don’t make any assumptions, people have found decent deals on Q7 before

The Atlas has the lowest payment, go with that one

Lol, thanks… I think Nissan Rogue is $209, so that’s even lower and I will go with that one

Yeah all these vehicles are basically the same, 4 wheels and use gas, I’d just pick the cheapest one

Thank you for the replies.

@borgrin I applaud your attempt to get some sense of the relative “deal” across 3 SUV options - every lessee does this to some extent. Where you are meeting some push back is your chosen metric - monthly payment. Let me suggest a different set of metrics. If you share the following information for each SUV you are considering you might find LH more helpful in your ultimate goal:

a. Pre-Incentive Discount % (this is the most critical metric, make sure this figure is before any and all incentives)
b. Deal MF and if it is marked-up from the buy rate share mark-up as well.
c. RV %
d. MSRP
e. Monthly Payment
f. Total Cost of Lease [monthly payment x 36 months (assumed)] + DAS

Or pick the one your heart wants and enjoy.

What year are the cars?

2020 - Audi, MB
2021 - VW

Do you mind sharing who you are using to get the VW price? That’s way better than what I was quoted, especially with zero down. 36 or 39 months?

I’d probably just go VW bc it’s considerably less.

Did you like the Mercedes?

That’s for 39 months. I used a broker - Grandprix Motors in Brooklyn.

To each it’s own, but I think GLE is a great vehicle. The interior redesign was long overdue, but it’s amazing. I think to really appreciate the vehicle, GLE450 with leather is the way to go. However, that makes it $$$$.

borgrin,

I’m curious if you chose one of these cars? I have similar preferences on size. If you did choose one, can you share your opinion…

I am considering VW Atlas SEL V6 Ideally with R-Line (not SEL premium), and also considering Land Rover Discovery.
