Sorry if purchase price topic is not allowed here, I couldn’t find posting guidelines explicitly disallowing this topic. So just want to try my luck here coz I don’t trust TrueCar pricing.

A-plan does not represent a good deal generally. It locks you in at 6% pre-incentve plus the a-plan bonus, which is often good for another 1-2%. 10+% pre-incentive can be negotiated on most new volvos, so if you’re using a-plan, you’re leaving money on the table.

You used to be able to use a-plan AND negotiate a further discount. It was a great deal then, but that ended about a year and a half ago.

oh man, i guess i have to start all over again… basically here in the norcal, the first thing dealer asks is if i have a-plan .

Because they get 2% commision on every a-plan deal.
