So I’ve reached out to every dealership in Illinois and no dealership has the packages that I want such as executive, driving assistance package and parking assistance package. Portimao blue, 19’ M sport jet black. So I decided to maybe custom order and the best I could do was 7% pre incentive discount. The most spec-ed out vehicle for 330i was just premium package, white on black.
Is it worth it? Am I making a stupid mistake? Am I being greedy.

There are brokers on here offering much better than 7% on custom orders.
With that said, if you’re actually in Chicago rather than nearby, I’d seriously reconsider leasing due to the ridiculous tax situation.
I live in a suburbs right outside of Chicago. My tax rate is 8.25%
Be glad. It’s tough to justify leasing in chicago with an almost 20% combined tax rate on leases.
I am in Indiana and just got a deal through @IAC (a broker here in LeaseHackr) and got 11% off MSRP pre incentives on a custom order. They have been great to work with and will give you references for shipping or you can go get the car in Maryland when it arrives. I am probably going to just fly there and drive it back.
In any event, there are several brokers here that work nationwide with BMW on custom orders and you will get 10-11% pre-incentives.

Thanks, I’ll try to work with my dealership as they have been very helpful. I’ll shoot for at least 10% and if they say no, I’ll talk to some brokers.
If you get a good lead on a BMW dealership in the Chicagoland area, let me know. I have been striking out in terms of getting a true deal.
The best dealership in Chicago in my opinion are either Bill Jacobs BMW or Patrick BMW. If you go to Patrick ask for Michael Urbano and if you go to bill jacobs ask for Terry Mancuso or Mike Alder

What vehicle did you end up with ?
X2 M35i - very few of them around, so a custom order made sense as the discount was very similar to in-stock.
