Karens telling me that they wouldn’t do it or I shouldn’t do it on the basis of putting money towards a future vehicle, like they personally know my financial situation. Why else do guys make money?? I’m a dude and i like nice vehicles so telling me its not a good idea to make money is plain stupid. Lol

The thing is, if you are not experienced, or know what you are doing, you can lose your shirt - quickly. The assumption is generally correct, as if you don’t know what you are getting into you can get burnt. If you bought a G63 new 4 months ago at 80-100k over MSRP, right now you’d be underwater. Market has significantly weakened on many vehicles.

Even with grandfathered prices, Tesla has a habit of canceling or never delivering such vehicles, since it’s not in their interest to sell a car for $8K below current MSRP.
