Possible to stop users from messaging all super supporters?

I get lots of messages that I think are meant to actually be, or should be, posts on the forum but are instead messages to all super supporters. These are usually just asking for help.

It’s happened twice that I know of in the history of ever, it just happens that both have been in the last week.

They should prevent SS being messaged by non Admins. It’s a dangerous to allow new users to message non admin groups. It will open us up to spam

the reason i msg to super_supporters is that i can’t find another way to figure out why i can’t post (no post button).
and yes I know that i need to read certain amount of posts: i’m reading for hours, but still can’t post.
seemed a glitch on website.
Also, should super_supportes help each other, do you think?

You should message the moderators (trusted hackers) with any questions about forum policies and procedures.

Feel free to also message the trusted hackers if they know how to get a Porsche 911 for less than MSRP… just so they can all enjoy the fun that wam22 lives every day.

As basic as it is, have you tried logging out of LH on all devices and logging back in?

Wasn’t really about not helping, it’s the risk of anyone just being able to spam an entire group. I don’t think anyone except for admins really needs to be able to message the whole super supporters group.

Good suggestion! I have disable PMs to Super Supporters. Super Supporters can have private conversations in Hackrs Lounge .

@test2 – I manually adjusted the trust level of your account. You should be good to go now!

I wouldn’t trust anyone with “test” in their user name.

That might be why the system auto-locked the account. :sweat_smile: We had to manually unlock it.

He didn’t want his definitely human, definitely not bot friends to be confused whether “II” is pronounced “two” or “eye eye”
