The latest price hikes for the 23 year model feel more like standardization/simplification at least on the X cars.

It’s an X7. By definition nothing on it is a necessity.
Get what you want. Ignore everything else.

What speakers are standard on the x7?
HK is part of premium package so I would assume stock speakers are Hi-Fi.
