Porsche Cayenne Coupe lease

,

Keep in mind that 3 years from now this will also be the old body style that’s been around forever and the new hotness will show up.

Just in from another dealer:

MSRP: $89,000
Discounted price: $82,000 (went down $7k)
36 mo lease w/ $5k down: $1,099 monthly payment
39 mo lease w/ $5k down: $1,081 monthly payment
10k miles/yr

Did you ask for the MF this time?

Asked earlier but have not received it yet.

Be proactive and calculate it, dealers hide it to make extra profit (an already easy thing in florida due to those doc fees :flushed:).

Never put any money down on a lease.
For 36 months, that’s an effective payment of $1238.
For 39 months, that’s an effective payment of $1209.

Stop talking to dealers. You are not going to get a decent deal on this car. There have been enough suggestions posted in this thread.

The question becomes. Do you want a good deal for a large powerful suv, or figure out whether to buy or lease a cayenne coupe.

These won’t be good “deals” but if you are set on a new cayenne then those lease deals are a little better than financing.

Based on what I’m reading he’s looking for the lowest payment not the best “deal”. Op is confused by thinking a lower payment = better deal.

The RV should be 58% for a 39/10 and base MF for Porsche is still .00200.

Even if the dealer won’t tell you the exact MF just get a breakdown of the sales price, fees etc. and we can back into it.

These cars lease horribly as mentioned however if you’re set on it then there’s still some meat left on the bone. 9-10% discount is as “good” of a deal you’ll find on a new non-loaner Cayenne.

I would counter back with the below offer in the calculator (fees estimated), reduce your drive off to ~$3,300 (just 1st mo. + fees), $1066/mo. That’s where your payment will be with a solid discount and base MF.

Hi looking for advice regarding a Cayenne E-hybrid Coupe lease deal.
MSRP $97,000
discount: $4,800
rebate to cap reduction : $6,700
residual: $56,300
money factor .00230
DMV fee: $950
36 months, 10k miles
4 k drive off
$1250 per month including tax

Thank you

  1. Your pre-incentive discount is 4.9%. How does that compare with the “good deal” target I mentioned in the post directly above yours?
  2. Base MF is .00200, how does this compare with the .00230 the dealer is giving you? (Hint, your MF is way marked up)
  3. At the end of the day you’re paying $49k to drive a ~$90k truck for 3 years. How does that sound?

When adjusted to base MF the dealer is really giving only around a 2% pre-incentive discount which is pathetic.

Standard Porsche leasing advice #1: if you’re dead set on leasing, check 39 & 42 mos. terms (they will be lower monthly)

Standard Porsche leasing advice #2: if you’re not dead set on leasing, then run finance numbers; A 72-mo loan @ 3% will have roughly the same monthly payment and after 3 years you’ll have about $12k more in equity compared to this garbage lease
