Porsche 911 allocations

Hi guys,

Looking for advice on the best way of securing a Porsche 911 allocation. Visited the Rochester NY dealer today and was told to wait 2-3 years with $500 deposit. Any hacks or advice appreciated!
Dealer had just 1 on the lot and it was a 2018 carrera 4s with 25k miles that is just too aged for me for $116,000!

Which version of the 911? Cabs and base versions are easier to get. Everything else can take multiple years.
