I am looking for a Mercedes C63 AMG. I want a V8 which is unfortunately not possible with the 2024 and 2025 models so I am looking for a model with a V8 on a good deal to have until Mercedes comes back out with the V8 in the C63 which is rumored for the 2026 model. Looking to make a deal by the time my current lease ends
Why do you say that?
Because it’s one form of financial suicide?
Look at the total cost of the lease relative to the selling price of the car. Let’s say it’s $14k and $29k. Why would anyone do that? That’s the kind of financial decision that’s on par with renting an Xbox, a TV or a couch as an alternative to buying it.
I used to think like you, stuck in the old school thinking as espoused by the Millionaire Nextdoor book.
It’s a different world now. Safety is a growing concern. Its not just distracting driving from cell phones or touchscreen cars forcing the driver to look down. Its also the aging of America and seniors living longer and driving at older ages.
Safety tech is growing at an exponential rate. Radar, Lidar, sensors, etc makes leaps & bounds yearly. If you are still stuck in old school thinking where you buy your car and keep it for a minimum of 8 years for it to pay off, you’re missing out on the one piece of safety tech that can save your life and avoid a life changing car crash.
I’m assuming people that hate leasing but hang out on a leasing-forum want to talk you out of leasing. You’re wasting your breath trying to rationalize why you like leasing. These people you are rationalizing with hate seeing people like you lease a ICE car. They just want you to buy it and drive it for many many years or just buy a used car.
But I’m also assuming you want to lease a car since you want full access to the manufacturer warranty and want a new car since used/dumpy is not in your future.
So, there’s a CX-30 Preferred at Fremont Mazda. They’re advertising $4k off MSRP. Their website says “doesn’t qualify for the leasing price”. But you know real life means you just have to go in there and negotiate. This is a lot anchor they want to get rid of. You want a deal, and they want to get rid of this thing. Ya’ll could figure something out.

If they agreed to the $4k off MSRP on a lease, you could get something along the lines of this deal:
The era of the affordable pay for it in cash daily driver ended with Cash For Clunkers
Dave Ramsey and his acolytes just haven’t caught up yet to that reality.
Can you go look at a 2025 Mazda CX30 and tell me what changed exponentially since the 2022 model?
As for the other stuff, I keep telling people not to be ideological about lease vs buy. Oh, the irony.
Looking for a deal on an EV under $300/mo with only first month pmt due at signing.

Sub $350/Mo. $0 DAS would be preferred
Ev or Non.
Cross-over style preferred. cx-50, blazer, equinox etc.
Thanks in advance
for 350 with zero, an EV hornet or similar is on your horizon.
Looking to lease glc 300 with 7,500 a year mileage. Located in Louisiana but willing to travel to find one. Can anyone help me out! Went to local Mercedes dealer yesterday and they quoted me $718 a month for a glc at 36 months with $5k down and 7,500 miles a year. That seems high to me so thought I would expand my search radius. Thanks, John
