Please help - is this a good deal - 2025 BMW X7 8K miles demo, 12.5K DAS, 39 mo, 12k miles

, , ,

Folks, please provide suggestion - getting offered 12K Miles for 39mo lease for a demo for X7, that has 8K miles on it. Being asked for 12.5K DAS, with $940/mo
Is it a good offer?

$12,500 at signing or $1,250? If it’s $12,000, that’s insane. I can get you a better deal on a new car.

You need to provide a lot more info if you want feedback. At a high level the effective payment with that das seems like new car pricing to me.

Fill in the blanks

On one hand you could lease a brand new X7 for ____ in the Marketplace

On the other you could buy a one-owner (not this former rental) CPO X7 for ___

Between those two, why would you accept an offer to lease a former rental for $12,500 + $940x38 =$48,220.00???

Buddy just picked up loaner x7 40i $1145 with first month due here in NYC. Unload your deal with more details.

What additional information would help -
DAS -$12,500, plus shipping $800
Package - Premium, Climate, Parking assistance
It is offered as a Lease, for 39 months, with 12K miles/year
Monthly - $938

can you share from where and did that 1145 / mo had $0 DAS?

Run away from this offer and check the Marketplace

This is not a cheap car to lease, but that much DAS is way too much for a new lease, let alone a loaner.

What is the breakdown for the amount due at signing?

there’s no breakdown shared, just upfront lumpsum mentioned

You need a lot more details as others have pointed out. Did you get a offer sheet ?
Msrp:
Selling price: what the dealer discounted
Incentives/rebates you qualify for :
New selling price:
MF: become a supporter of the website and see if they are using base MF. Aka not bumped up.
RV: cant be altered but is for demo vehicles. Each brand is different.

Its a demo and i forget how the mileage penalty works for bmw. Overall not a good deal.

Ask for the breakdown

Then why not ask the dealer for a breakdown? Fyi, you can structure the amount due at signing anyway you want, but it usually includes first month’s payment + fees (dealer doc fee, acquisition, and registration).

Anyway, this is not a good deal.

You’ve received a lot of quick and great advice from very knowledgeable hackrs already. Hopefully you nix this lease.
