Looks good to me…I was pricing these last month, but ended up with a Forester. FWIW, I also have a 2017 Outback…Forester is a much better car, IMHO, though it leases for slightly more even with a cheaper msrp.
Steering and handling are awful in the Outback. Forester is more nimble. Huge windows are wonderful. Seats more comfortable. Sound system seems better, but maybe because its a 19 vs 17
My old Q5 was better than both, but nearly twice as expensive.
I live in the canyons of Los Angeles, and drive twisty and hilly roads all day long. Oh, forgot…took it on a road trip to Santa Cruz last summer. Going over 75 did not inspire confidence. Did get excellent mileage though.
Consumer Reports gave the new Forester an 89…only two vehicles get better ratings. Though one is an Avalon Hybrid…so that sorta makes me wonder
Thank you. For me, Forrester feels like driving on a truck chassis. I sort of want to have a vehicle planted to ground more so I can enjoy curves more.
