With the number of builds coming in EOY, good to throw this back out there.

cool, didn’t know it can be a savings account. Thanks Shan3!
Does anyone know if the Penfed works on a 2019 Audi-etron? It shows only 2020 and 2021 but wanted to see if anyone had luck on it?
It should qualify for all 2020 models for $1,000.
The language in the bmw bonus cash is concerning. Aren’t all bmw leases through bmwfs? Appreciate anyone with experience using penfed, as I didn’t see this language in the incentives for other mfg like Audi.
Special BMW Incentive offer is valid at any authorized BMW Center in the United States. Cash incentives are not applicable for vehicles leased/financed through BMW Financial Services. Member must take retail delivery January 06, 2020 - January 4, 2021. Incentive offer is subject to change without prior notice. This special incentive is available to Pentagon Federal Credit Union members with greater than 60 days of membership.
I just used (Nov 2020) the PenFed coupon on a BMW lease and I’m the member and the lease is in my wife’s name. Just fyi.
I read up above in this thread that it’s only one PenFed code per calendar year… can anyone confirm this? I was hoping to pull another code and use it in 12/2020.
Edit: I just tried to print another one… and it’s the same code. One per member per calendar year. I guess in Jan 2021 I can get a new BMW code. Maybe for a different manufacturer it would work though?!?
Thanks
Did you co-sign for the lease? The fine print on the certificate clearly states the name of the person leasing the car needs to be on the contract, in order for them to take advantage of the Penfed benefit.
I did not. I read the fine print and was wondering if I was going to have an issue… but I didn’t. I didn’t even go to the dealership, I worked out the deal over the phone and sent my wife in to get the car. 100% under her name.
About to back out of a Pen Fed mortgage app.
Pre approved in 2 seconds, paid the appraisal, got the closing cost estimate then got 2 increases since; additional $200 appraisal fee now another $170 just before I close the loan. F it, gonna shop the loan now with their docs in hand.

Wondering if there was an answer to this …
You get a $500 incentive from Penfed when you lease or finance a car through BMWFS. I hope that answers your question.
EDIT: To my knowledge, all BMW leases are through BMWFS.
I didnt get the deal I want, so I did not go through with it, but when negotiating with a BMW dealer recently, I told them I had PenFed and they took $500 off the sale price. so fairly certain BMW dealers accept the PenFed code even when leasing through BMWFS
Gotta wait two months? can’t sign up today, print coupon tomorrow?
Gotta waitie
Does the $500 PenFed come out of dealers pocket or BMWFS?
Anyone apply recently? I’m trying to upload my documents and it keeps erroring out saying my documents are > 3 mb when all of them combined are less than 2 mb. One pdf and two images, each under 600 kb.
Edit : Nvm, it kept erroring out and I finally closed the application thinking their website is busted, only to receive SIX emails 30 mins later that my docs were being reviewed. Oh well, credit union website experience never fails to wow me.
Anyone know how penfed works on custom order if I don’t currently have the code but will by the time the car is delivered? I should be able to get the code sometime mid-Feb but I’m placing a custom build order this coming week. I’m aware that if the car gets to the dealer in March, I can choose to apply Jan or March programs, whichever is better.
If Jan programs do end up being better, will I be able to give them penfed during signing in march and get it counted towards my incentives?
