Palisade and Telluride adventures

2020 Hyundai Palisade…

We’ve been hunting for a Kia Telluride or Palisade. Kia dealers were obnoxious, cars overpriced. Also looked at Atlas / Volvo / etc.

Just got this deal which we feel good about…

Year, Make, Model, and Trim:
MSRP: $43445
Monthly Payment: $449
Drive-Off Amount: $3500
Months:36
Annual Mileage:10,000
MF:.00171
Residual:61%
Incentives: 10% off MSRP
Region: Chicago
Leasehackr Score: 7.5

Hope this helps others!

Dont know much about how these lease. Only critique is putting $3500 down is pretty steep. If you total the vehicle early on you will be out the downpayment.

That’s a very good deal on a limited. I assume your 10% number is including conquest and lease cash incentives though.

Correct. I didnt have anything like military or student… but they offered a ‘competitive’ incentive because we had switched from a Toyota. Dont known the breakout, but this was the final

Conquest is $500. When I was shopping, lease cash on the limited was $1k, so if it is the same, thatd put you at $1500 in incentives and 6.1% pre-incentive discount, which is still the best I have seen on a limited. I wonder if the Chicago dealer was just eager to get rid of a fwd vehicle in a market that normally prefers awd.

Don’t forget to get the $500 post sale rebate from bonus drive.

I’ve only reached out to a few dealers so far along with Rodo, but only gotten quotes at 4-5% off pre-incentives on a Limited AWD. Hoping in the next 2 months before my lease is up that incentives and dealer discount will get a little better, seeing that the end of FY is April 1st.

Thanks on the rebate recommendation… I haven’t seen that before. Oil changes/etc also now included on all Hyundai leases as of Feb 1… extra bonus

Yah, except they bumped the MSRP by about $300 to cover it, so it’s pretty much a wash.

With Hyundai putting a stop on production of the palisade due to supply chain issues from the corona virus, I wouldn’t hold my breath on things getting better in the next month or two.

Ugh I know, I just read about that…

Fortunately, at the moment, it’s only supposed to be for about a week. Of course, if things don’t get under control, I don’t know what would allow them to start back up (unless they’re waiting on a separate supply chain to spool up).
