No video here lol but I will often request that for my cars.
Postscript: they deny the whole thing , guy claims scratches would’ve also been on the hood had it come from the machine. NYC baby
Man I’m really sorry to hear someone anonymously mailed a bucket of human feces to that place next week.
Is this the only touchless/full touch/brushless whatever carwash you have been since you purchased the car? If so, pull a Karen and write some bad reviews for them.
So being that they don’t wanna do anything I recommend that you get someone or yourself to cut and then polish it, and then wax it, I recommend clay, borrowing it before doing anything that way you can smooth in the surface. Question: when you touch the paint does it feel scraped or is it smooth with lines everywhere? Let me know and I’d be happy to help out and I can recommend a great product to get rid of this
Would you mind posting your recommended products? There’s so many products out there.
Horrible LoL
This is one of the reasons why I’d never buy a used car
I had a lot of people over the years tell me this and friends/family come to me with the usual “iTs a lEaSe, yOuRe gOnNa rEtUrN iT aNyWaY”
My response is, I’m probably going to throw out my shirt eventually too, should I not launder and press it before I wear it each time.
FYI Products below for folks that enjoy taking care of their vehicles…
Clay Bar (anyone is fine)
Iron X (especially if you live near a rail/train)
Good polish/glaze
Top coat (carnauba/synthetic or ceramic of your choice)
Tire dressing/wheel cleaner
The correct example would be a rental tuxedo, for example. You’d get wasted, probably spilled some stuff on it, maybe even puked on it. And then returned it lol
HA, reminds me of my wedding reception. There was a relative, I’ll spare from naming at all lol, who nearly destroyed his rental. Puked on the jacket/pants, lost the cuff links and his tie was cut off of him (his overreactive gf of the time). Returned the shambles that he had - no additional charges - I was at a loss for words.
Back to the paint scratches.
chemical guys:
-medium clay bar with clay luber
-butter wet wax for a glossy shine/touch
-hydrosuds quick detailer! ** best product they have. Use at the very last step just spray wipe & buff off
-v34-38 for polish
-p4 for cutting
