Hello.
Currently leasing a 15’ Tiguan se that only has 11k… Looking to see what dealers in the areas might be worth dealing with on a new lease with a possible trade in.
I worked with Day Audi in Monroeville with my 2014 A4 lease. I found the dealer a pleasure to work with and would have definitely worked with them again if I settled on an Audi.
What did you settle on? Assume a dealer in the area?
I’ll check them out
I leased an Acura this time but I would recommend if you are looking for an Audi/VW then Day in Monroeville is the one I would personally go with.
My $.02…stay away from Cochran. Their “completely better car buying” spiel is a joke. They don’t allow much negotiation as it’s supposed to be a 1 price fits all model. I’ve never had a dealer NOT beat Cochran on price since they implemented this program. Unfortunately, this means if you’re looking at Infiniti, you have to look outside of Pgh, as Cochran has the market with both dealerships. They also have 2 of the 4 Audi dealerships…Day + Sewickley are the other 2.
My experience from when I was living in Pittsburgh was that the best car shopping advice was to go buy in Ohio…
I think that’s true if you’re looking for a hackr worthy lease deal. In 2.5 years (yes, already 6 months into my Acura lease) if I settle on a brand and model that can be hacked, I suspect I’m going to need to go outside the Pittsburgh metro area. In my experience the higher end dealers in this area are not likely to replicate or even come close to the lease deals others are getting elsewhere.
And to what @mp11477 noted stay away from Cochran, they are not competitive and disinclined to negotiate even when proven their “low price” isn’t the lowest.
The Bimmer dealers here didn’t even reply back when trying to replicate a deal in MD/OH. I went through the hassle of getting a “foreign” car registered here as a result.
Both Day dealers, vw and Audi, each want me to come in to check out different vehicles and said they don’t provide pricing via email?.. Even called to speak to someone else and same thing. Super weird.

Dealers here will ask (and most times get) what the market will bear. If the Pittsburgh market isn’t going to demand better deals and as long as people happily fork over $450+ all day everyday for a 320i, then there isn’t really an incentive for dealers to give them.
So if Pittsburgh is a bust-where do you end up going? Ohio?
I just closed my second deal with P&W Bmw. Try Infiniti of Akron I negotiated via text message with them and it was pretty smooth.
Infiniti of Akron seemed ok in my book too. Likewise with BMW of Akron.
I purchased my last 2 cars here. My A4 was 6 months short of celebrating its 1 year birthday with the dealer so they were willing to deal and my Acura wasn’t worth going out of state for because I wasn’t going to get a better deal.
However if I was looking for a leasehackr deal in the vein of what people here have secured, I would cast a line in Pittsburgh but probably go elsewhere there were no bites.
