I have called around to a couple dealers today to inquire about leases for a specific spec on a car and they all happened to be out of state. In all instances the dealers flatly told me that they won’t lease to someone out of state. (Was for a Dodge)
Am I being naive that this is actually something I just wasn’t aware of or am I missing something.

Leasing Out Of States isn’t an issue.
if there a small dealership they probably dont know how to do it. I received more cooperation when i mention i would fly down, pick up and sign the final paper work in person. Some dealerships are scared to ship cars without a physical presense due to identity theft possibilities.
