Out of State EV Lease Orders - Anyone Tried a NJ Deal?

We need an @aronchi landfill.

OP you should be looking into transferring an Ariya lease that originated in “the NE”.

I’m texting with a CA dealer now, it seems the same 18month program and similar incentives are available now to CA in a new program, so I will see what they are able to do.

He meant 18 months IS available from CA dealer to CA registration, I think. You showed NJ dealer to CA registration.

((Sale price * NY tax) / 18 ) + rent charge + CA tax

Long Island city for instance, is 8.875%, and obviously in California it’s county dependent but at least 7.75%

Yes. With 4k less in rebate money. There is an 18 month program, but it’s not supported like the ne

Right. He never said it was the same, only that it makes no sense to ship and jump through the loops for the difference

$2680 less in rebate money, which gets largely consumed by shipping and extra registration, before getting hit double with taxes.

If I’m calculating it correctly, that adds about $200/month before the CA tax is figured in, that’s a sizeable amount

Yah, the extra incentives don’t look like they’d cover the double tax, shipping, and double reg.

$4384 up front one-pay to NMAC, 16 months left.

Indeed - well that being the case, I will see how the CA deal evolves, and if the numbers don’t look good, I’ll look for another car option or just go with my month-to-month Sixt rental. Either way, under no pressure.

Obviously indeed, because 7.75% is the new 7.25%.

@bocastephen just got a reply from a CA dealer that Nissan has upped the incentives in California for the Ariya 18 month leases.

Hi, Nissan came out with , improved incentives for 18 months. Using the loyalty rebate. and the new incentives . 2k due at signing and the payment is 242 plus tax. if you
don’t have loyalty, its 2k down and 297 plus tax. John

I think that’s for an EVOLVE+ AWD, which is a pretty nice deal.

Might Nissan have finally gone nationwide to clear on the 23s before the 24s hit the lots next month?

I’m glad that Boca can finally get a good deal and not have to potentially commit any fraud!

You get this from Clutch’s mdesking account, my guy?

Nobody is forced to sell you a car.

This seems like a lot of hoops for a broker to jump through.

Also a CSI nightmare
