Order Placed (And Rates Locked?) 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4xE - MSRP $55,525 - $388 DAS and $388/month including WA tax

,

There is a dealer who is able to lock in the MF & RV for the 4xe, based on his word anyway. However, that could only be guaranteed through the EOD today. Chrysler is supposedly making mid-month changes, effective tomorrow… but AGAIN, it may not even affect anything at all. We won’t know until it is actually released.

Mine will prob be here for all 36 mos. Unless I can convince my daughter to part with it…

I may try that before it even arrives if the delta on a resale is $7-8k😊

It just doesnt make any sense that one dealer can do it and not others.

They all use the same banks. Call me a skeptic but I dont buy it.

I would say, if it is possible (which we have anecdotal evidence so far) it is possible that not everyone knows about how to do it properly.

Curious to see how this shakes out.

I’m with you 1000%. I find no logic in it at all; someone is lying.

Side question - does the acquisition fee get waived with affiliate pricing? It seems so, from the proposals that I’ve seen, but I’d like to confirm.

Acquisition fee waiver is currently part of the CCAP offer and has nothing to do with affiliate pricing or otherwise.

Interesting, that is the first that I’ve heard of that. Thanks!

Great
I have two questions
So TN dear honoring before msrp jump quote for April orders?
Did you ask for one payment option? Will he do that?

On my order he is using MRSP pre jump. Not interested in one pay so I didn’t not ask.

I read that all dealers should do that. If order is on your name before May it is price protected and they should honor it. Not sure if any dealer can say no

Sure. Just reporting what is going on in my case so people who were unsure can follow along.

Does your actual sticker reflect the higher MSRP?

Yes sticker shows higher price

Ok, and the lease contract is using the ordered (lower) msrp?

Haven’t seen the lease contract but on the quote he’s using the ordered price.

Interesting… it would be better if they used the new msrp and kept the selling price the same.

I will be in this boat when my Wrangler arrives so I’m really curious as to how your contract plays out.

The window sticker doesnt matter as much as the invoice when the car was ordered.

The dealer will price it based off of the invoice which should reflect the pre-hike MSRP.

The Invoice is generated at or shortly after ordering. The window sticker is generated as the car is being produced.

Cool, thanks for clearing that up for me.

You should go work for Jeep - I heard they could use some help in their logistics department.
