Got it. Is that confirmed?

7.75% tax out here in Irvine!

Yes. There are other sources to confirm that off LH.

I’d request that folks not speculate about rates and incentives unless you know for sure. This thread is already long and hard to navigate for new folks, so let’s not confuse them.

A couple of us early orders are expecting delivery starting this weekend through next weekend so we shall see where the rubber meets the road.

This is what I found in the CCAP program guide (from 2020)

ā€œDealer Early Lease Buyout – Using this option, the account will be treated as a matured lease in that applicable early termination vehicle return fees are waived if unpaid by the dealer. The dealer agrees to make the remaining lease payments to Chrysler Capital and the customer will be billed for any excess wear and tear, excess mileage and other fees due.Under the Dealer Early Lease Buyout option, the inspection for wear will occur after the vehicle has been grounded. The customer will be billed for any applicable charges approximately 30 days later. Once all payments, fees, mileage overages and excess wear fees have been received, the account will be closed and the customer will not be responsible for potential residual deficiencies.ā€

guide is here:

We are actually 6% sales tax plus a 3% lease tax

That’s crazy if ccap is going to charge the unused interest too. Maybe @asfarr86 can confirm what his payoff breakdown was. He sold a Pacifica lease recently.

Intuitively it makes sense. They are making a huge profit on the lease financing part. Why would this give it up?

It would be great to have a real world example from someone who has gone through the process.

Unfortunately mine was not a lease it was a finance.

If that is the case, then a one pay makes more sense. But I don’t think that is the case.

My last 2 lease buyouts with CCAP were not the case.

I had an 18 ram 1500 sold to vroom in 2019 and a 20 gladiator sold to a dealership outright in 2020. Both CCAP. Didn’t have to pay the balance of interest on either.

Love that with the painted roof. Very stealth jet vibes. 10/10

So…You ordered in April, picked up in May, and signed using April’s lease program?

Yep! Ordered 4/15, picked up today with RV and MF shown in OP’s calculator.

You are the first that has been able to do this, this is excellent news. By chance could we trouble you to post a copy of your contract with your personal info redacted? I think there are dozens of us that might benefitāœ”ļø

Congrats to everyone that’s taken delivery! Enjoy in good health. How has anyone ordered the Rubicon? I’m torn between the Sahara or Rubicon. I don’t go off roading but I love the rugged, aggressive looks.
