It’s auto show time again… first the OC one and then LA next month.
Started yesterday, runs until Sunday.
You can ask dealers for links to free tickets (Thu/Fri) and discounted tickets (Sat/Sun).
I mainly go to look at the EVs and this one the highly anticipated EV9:
Glad it wasn’t cordoned off so I could sit in it and stuff.
Unlike the Chevy EVs:
Although the E-Ray wasn’t barricaded… it was locked:
A “Woody” surfer Ariya was there:
Also got to sit inside the Lyriq:
Show was really small this year, many people were doing the EV Ride (they don’t really let you drive them) and Jeep Adventure stuff.

From what I’ve briefly seen, word is that the show is extremely empty this year

It’s small as in not many vehicles but a good number of people.
It will never get as packed as the LA show.
Yeah. It had fake stuff on the interior displays so probably pre-production.

LA was a colossal disappointment last year.

Are any of the manufacturers offering coupons or discounts? I remember at the DC Auto Show, Hyundai would give out $500 vouchers good at local dealerships.
Yes. There were show vouchers. I think Nissan had a &1k one.
You would not like the OC show.
I’m easy… any time I can sit in cars without a salesman bothering me is good times.
