Hi guys,
Trying to put tother a lease for my wife on a Honda Odyssey. My preference was an EX or SE, but the 2017 models are practically gone. So I got this deal on a 2017 EX-L model as follows:
Monthly Payment: $411 (tax included)
Drive off: First Payment of $411
I don’t know yet the selling price because basically the dealer matched the deal my friend got there two weeks ago and they will take care of the last payment of my current lease which is $360. This is the last one they had. So I don’t think I can negotiate. If I walk away I will need to keep looking because inventory on 2017 models is limited. Should I pull the trigger or keep looking? Amazing how other dealers priced the same car over $550. Thanks
Am I right in saying the 2018 is an all new car? It is their claim on their commercials anyway. If it is, I would expect them to be wanting to get rid of the 2017 models.
Having said that, Honda’s dont lease well and your payment seems ok ish. What is the sale price on the car? Remember that last payment on your other car is just money they would have given you in extra discount, so your monthly is basically higher because of it. Better if you make the last payment and they reduce the monthly, that way you don’t pay interest on it.
Yes it is new, but the 2018 are available in limited quantities, so they dont have to offer deep discounts. The truth is that they dont have many in stock
Absolutely, I would not expect any discounts on the 18, just wondered when they will start trying to get rid of the 17’s. I assume when there are more 18’s to sell which is sounds like has not happened yet.
I have an offer for an exl 999 down $339+ tax/ mo 12k/36mo
its their father’s day promo and it ends today
still deciding if I want it.
2018 really looks good.
Honda of Serramonte
I’m on my way right now to close the deal I got it down a little bit more and asked them to include GAP insurance.
They are really getting rid of it because I was in Victory Honda earlier and they can’t even match it.
I am waiting for the 2018. They finally fixed the ride in the new one. But I would expect the 17 to start blown out. But for these still makes more sense to buy and sell to carmax once your bored of it.
