OPEC Agrees to 10M🛢 cut - the gas price boredom thread

The rot in the District of Criminals reaches far deeper than that particular address.

That’s true. Unelected bureaucrats are destroying the country from within but never has there been a scenario where we have a walking zombie as commander in chief. He is a national domestic and foreign security risk if I ever knew one.

And make no mistake, the OPEC+ decision to cut production was a direct repudiation of this administration.

he has access to the codes? Doesn’t he need permission first?

Who would the Commander in Chief need to get permission from? Maybe Dr. Jill?

Want to yell Subaru that discontinued STi over night for this all EV scheme.

How much oil would these people provide us with?

Just enough to refill the reserves at a price much higher than they drained it at. Bet.

I don’t know how reliable those numbers really are. China and Saudi Arabia I wouldn’t count as reliable numbers and Japan is a consumer economy that would suffer the most from increased global prices. I’m sticking to my comment, however it can’t be fake news its an opinion and the only thing guaranteed is that it is different from others.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Saudi numbers are right. Saudi citizens aren’t used to the same level of schmoozy benefits Qataris, Kuwaitis, or Emiratis are, but the government has taken very slight inflationary measures.

Milk from Saudi in the UAE has officially increased by 50% since 2017 but has been capped at around 25-30aed per gallon at the peak, and oil has gotten worse since the war in Ukraine. It’s since slid to 21aed /gallon today.

roughly $6.80-$8.17/gallon for the freedom units to $5.72.

But our numbers are totes reliable, LOL. I know all my expenses are up only 8% vs last year. Aren’t yours?

overall I think they’re up for me personally more than that. Only thing I see coming down in price vs. pre-pandemic is internet, wireless phone service and TVs. Our numbers offcourse and modified to sell a narrative but I do feel like we’re still better off:

As Belarus President Lukashenko said today, today, today: “From October 6, all price increases are forbidden. Forbidden! From today. Not from tomorrow, from today. Therefore, from today, price increases are prohibited.”

(Discounting the ‘threat’)…Or what?

There is no “Or what?” option in Belarus.

when it comes to oil what’s stopping companies from drilling domestically?

Hmm, I wonder.

There was an articles about a months or two ago (can’t find it) to counter act that charts saying that only half of already leased land is being developed making a point in a sense - why lease more if those already leased aren’t being used anyways.

More like why use it during a time when you have a hostile Administration breathing down your neck

It’s ok, if we say enough mean things about oil and gas companies they will eventually lower the prices !
