$2.45 Costco SoCal
Or most of Alaska doesn’t need the gas to be shipped too far?
Time to get back in?
No thanks. I’ll stick with tax law!
And not even 60 days later, after a month where WTI went negative, 91 is back to $3.39/gal. Funny how quickly equilibrium returns.
Yikes… not looking good
I’m gonna take a wild guess and say that we didn’t send our best with hat in hand.

And Russia, also.
Timing is rather interesting with this decision too. I think we will see $4.50 average gas by December.
Russia is the + in OPEC+
Can’t wait for winter blend! lol
The price spread in California always seemed like the most interesting thing. Kinda like your regular gas buyers are subsidizing the premium gas buyers.
Nearly everywhere else in the southwest the price spread is 60c-$1/gal.
Yikes. In Florida, we got over $5 in June, but then dropped from there
Interesting global cat and mouse game. It may seem like we’re hurting with $6/gal, high inflation, high interest rates and in a recession that we’re denying BUT as much as we (USA) suffers, the world suffers much more. China, Iran and Russia (less so Russia) are in turmoil and their governments grip on power tested, without a shot fired. Sure our Costco trips cost $450 instead of $300, we don’t have our chips for our corvettes, all in one printers and Range Rover 2nd set of keys but it’s setting our political rivals back decades.
“When I was a kid” we had regular and Ethyl. They tended to be a dime a gallon apart.
And Europe which is imploding. But yes we are basically waging financial world war.
The same political rivals who are unhinged and have their fingers hovering over the red button? I’d prefer we go back a few years and not be dealing with any of this shit.
Also not sure this is much of a saving grace for the working fellow that is already struggling to put food on the table at night.
