Only 3 MSDs allowed on BMW iX?

Ordered a custom iX a while back, we’re in MN but ordered from a dealer in PA since no local dealer would offer anything off MSRP, its now arrived at the dealer and so going through the paperwork and their finance manager is now telling us that the quote and pricing we originally had isnt quite right. Our plan was max (7) MSDs, and shes stated that we can now only do 3 because any more would cause the MF to fall below the amount allowed by BMWFS…I have a feeling this is BS but just thought id check?

Your dealer is working off an old playbook where .00005 was the minimum.

4 are allowed, You cannot buy the base rate down below .00001

It’s not BS, just a misunderstanding of the latest bulletin on MSDs with BMW FS. On the iX, you can do a maximum of 4x since the base rate is 0.00026 and 4x MSDs drops that to 0.00002. A 5th MSD would go below 0, which is not allowed. The minimum MF allowed used to be 0.00005 as @IAC mentioned, so they are working on that presumption and telling you 3x max since that gets you to 0.00008, which would have been the lowest you can go to under the old guidelines. Under the new guidelines, it just needs to be above zero.
