One-pay lease less than $10k?

Yeah the point is to go see my mother… The old man has a fat boy low I can stare at all day and its way prettier…

Sounds like you’re just trolling now.

$15k for 3 years just to drive to go visit your mom sounds like such a waste of money. Having those Tesla panels won’t do you any good as you won’t be taking them with you to charge your car while you drive to your mom’s. It’d be cheaper to buy airplane tickets to to fly there 3 times a year for 3 years.

Too much trolling or too much Dunning Kruger. Either way

I normally characterize your post as being overly harsh, but, in this instance, I am inclined to agree and will also be saying, “Laterz.”

That’s lame I don’t even have the website running yet…Dunning Kruger … that’s

new one! HA!

What am I supposed to … my dad isnt around anymore and my old man has only financed a truck never leased… so I go on the internet to try to find some good advice and well thanks guys… :grinning:

Meanwhile, somewhere in AZ, "This is the end of the year and you just lost the easiest sale possible. What do you have to say for yourself, Mister Fister?

So I will pay 500$ on the side of a $10k deal…

My advice… leases are typically for those who have the luxury of having money to burn, or are in an emergency scenario. Leasing rarely make the most sense financially; the math just doesn’t work out.

You would be better off paying cash, or financing, a cheaper (reliable) vehicle versus riding the roller coaster of death. The American dream is a smoke show for most, which consists of perpetual monthly payments. The dream is unobtainable as there is no finish line.

Being intelligent does not always = making fun decisions. Please follow the advice given.

Come on, get real. You can’t get anything decent for $10-15K now and not worry about warranty, repairs and 5-7 years old tech. This won’t work for someone who wants worry-free life and knows little about cars. OP has very specific requirements and is married to a Subaru.

There are plenty of <$10k reliable vehicles out there. It comes down to making the practical/intelligent choice over vanity. If OP doesn’t know how to shop for a reliable vehicle, find someone who does. The buying vehicles under warranty (out of fear) is BS 9/10. People constantly purchase or don’t purchase something because of it; fear is one of the largest & best sellers. You would be able to make some serious repairs (in the event anything does actually happen) with the amount of money saved overall.

What won’t work is digging yourself a deeper hole when you can’t afford the lifestyle you’ve been living.

There is no such thing as a 100% reliable 7 yo car. And under $10K?

Solterra is vanity?

Looks like she doesn’t want to, so used is out of question

And what if OP doesn’t want to deal with repairs? I know I don’t want to, for one.

This is her business, she didn’t ask for a financial advise

That’s what Im talking about!.. I thought I was signed in using the Credit Karma app for haters for a moment … nice save! Thx!

Despite thinking this is a troll account and someone is just having fun, here is my advice:

If you are driving roughly 9k miles for 3 trips only just rent a car for those three trips. Driving 1500+ miles on an EV in cold weather is going to be a real pain and potential serious issue. The midwest doesn’t have the best charging network and you will drop some notable range in most EV’s when it is snowing. Just put your $10k into a high yield savings account (4%+ is easy to find) and use the money for rentals and ride share as needed. Otherwise you need a lease with many more miles than 10k.

I know what I need … i asked for a review of the lease terms for an AWD EV … aaand … wow thx! … what are you driving?

You think you know what you need, but picked what you want and not what is the best soultion for you. But I agree that you are just trolling. Otherwise, you would’ve gotten your Solterra long time ago.
