Terrible deal. Pretty sure Mercedes EQB or EQE can be had for similar money
There are Mercedes dealers in California in the Marketplace who sell/ship out of state
Have you checked the range of the Soltera?

Because its a SINGLE payment… i’m in school so I just have to have electricity inwhich I have Tesla on my roof…
I dont care about the credit factor… I have a cosigner…its going to save me from that interest on a loan…
Yes and grandma is 5 min from town but she lives on a gravel road… also they have power I can plug into cause grandma lives on a farm…
A one pay does not remove the rent charge. It lowers it, but you still are paying some.
I guess it depends on your definition of similar. Maybe you could find an EQB one-pay for a couple thousand more than this but it wouldn’t have the feature content of the Solterra. Not saying the Solterra is a great car, but on the EQB everything’s an option so that stripped $54k EQB someone got a deal on might not even have heated seats.
I got etron RS for $6500 for a year, 2 EQS for 14K one pay 24 months
And this deal is $5k/year, so deals that were 30% or 40% more don’t fall under my definition of “similar”. Of course you can get more car for more money.
My thoughts exactly. Seems some of that cash would be better off going toward those credit cards in collections unless debt is going to be forgiven. I don’t think that is going to happen, but wish her luck.
How similar is $2,000 DAS, max MSD and a payment of sub $350 plus tax?
That’s what was being offered by a dealer in California a few days ago, just before they announced they’re too busy to do any more out of state deals rn
With tax on a one-pay it’d probably be a couple of thousand more as I said. And that deal was probably on an aged unit with a weird build. It’s not hard to find EQBs with builds where someone decided to option windshield wiper heating but not seat heating.

Wouldn’t it probably be the same with tax?
Are you speaking from recent personal experience about inventory? I don’t feel any motivation to go through the OP’s requirements, but maybe they’d be fine w/ a weirdly optioned EQB?
There were several units available but go ahead please keep making assumptions that they were all weird builds. NTM the OP mentioned diddly squat about options. The notion that lack of __ is a dealbreaker for you is completely irrelevant here.
If you want to insist there isn’t a better EV value than a $15k Solterra one/pay, we’ll have to agree to disagree.
The dealer posting those has 182 EQBs in inventory. You think the handful they’re posting here aren’t the distressed units?
Value is subjective. A $15k 36-month one-pay for any SUV isn’t a bad deal in this market. Throwing more expensive options out there saying they’re a better value is questionable when the “value” is in the badge not the feature content. You can’t even put a tow hitch on the EQB for a bike rack.
Yes …Itll be around 200 miles b4 next charge…
The last worksheet I posted was for the Solterra Limited trim, $15k 10k miles ( because they said that if I turn it back in with over the miles it matters, if I choose to purchase the car, or if I choose to turn it in to get another one then they won’t be as picky)… and Im having the tire package (Subaru’s OVP) included, also all other fees included because I had told them at the time that $15k was my max as I will borrow or have garage sale lol for the rest… Insurance is covered already np…
I like that it is partially made by Toyota AND Subaru… Those names mean alot when it comes to offroad and Safety…
I had told them at the time that $15k was my max
This is why you don’t tell them what your budget is. They conveniently made sure to max it out.
feature content
Has the OP shared what their desired features are?

It doesn’t mean jack shit when it comes to the Solterra
