Why is it posted in my zip? I mean, fine people here are horny for EVs but even then…
We offer GAP insurance that can be financed into the lease. Any issues before delivery will be settled prior to the owner receiving their vehicle.
Tesla won’t be leapfrogged as much as they will be absorbed. I think that’s always been the play. Its kind of odd that Mercedes has done virtually nothing with electrification as almost every other major player pivots, no?
The E-GT is faster 0-60 mph than all Teslas, except ludicrous mode vehicles that are $15,000 to $20,000 above the E-GT MSRP. The car is built to handle like a motorsports coupe and out handles every EV on the market because it is ultra lightweight with suspension built for the track.
When you factor in the bespoke design and build options as if you were to get them through a dealer or aftermarket, you are saving another $22,000 to $42,000. The E-GT includes custom paint to sample ($10,000 to $20,000 retail), custom interior ($5,000 to $10,000 retail), and custom forged performance wheels ($7,000 to $12,000). Each vehicle is built-to-order like a PTS Porsche or Mulliner Bentley. Waiting for 4-5 months for a custom ordered vehicle is quick by industry time standards.
As previously mentioned, the vehicle is paid off on month 4.
I think I’d trust Porsche or Bentley to make a car that is going to last and could actually service it a little bit more than a company called custom car co which has their cars made in china, probably from a manufacturer you found from Alibaba that also makes custom t shirts. You cant seriously think someone is going to give you 60,000 dollars for a lease or 120,000 to purchase this do you? I know we have all seen some terrible deals on this forum, but anyone who would even consider this is worse than the accord guy.
As previously mentioned it takes 5 months to build car. My god you’re daft.
The Model 3 Performance does 0-60 in 3.2 seconds, which is faster than the E-GT’s 3.6 in Boost mode that you claimed above. Plus, the M3P is less than half the price at $57k.
Someone call my name! Ribbit!
"I won’t go as far as to say Tesla won’t be leaped frog, but I honestly "
Thanks for the information. The Model 3 is a nice vehicle, but it is not a sports coupe. It is mass produced so the economies of scale would make the Tesla Roadster a closer comparison. The E-GT is specifically for someone that wants a one-off gorgeous looking coupe that happens to be an EV (and not a rebodied Lotus ) .
Nice claim…can you back it up? Let’s see some stats. I have huge doubts this car of yours can hang with Taycan and the S Plaid.
There are no numbers because no one has reviewed or evaluated this vehicle.
This is like walking through Canal Street in NYC and seeing all those vendors selling Chinese-knock offs of everything, but branded differently.
I normally don’t have an issue with alternative products or services, but the difference being with a car is that well… this is a car. You can literally jump into this Electric car and then blow up (Chinese made hoverboards had this issue) and how do we even know this vehicle meets Government safety regulations?
Has the IIHS tested it? Has it been rated using ANY Government standards? Where is the information to support that this vehicle is a viable option for potential customers?
Selling and making cars is hard. It’s not as easy as “Go on Alibaba, cover manufacturer costs, then sell to morons no the internet.”
Why do you think people innovate and create new things? For the betterment of mankind? That may be part of it but I don’t see them giving the cars away. Profit motive is a wonderful thing that spurs innovation. It is not evil. How many innovations came out of the USSR? North Korea? Iran?
There is a reason all innovation occurs in Capitalist countries. People want to make money and they do so by creating something that makes other people’s lives better.
Not necessary create, since most modern “innovations” were adopted from government funded research. Also, you can’t deny that USSR was beating us in space race. Even now we are using their old tech.
Every modern invention we have, we are slowly learning or have learned it is because of some military contract. Elon is a genius and i dont believe he is in this for the money. If he were he would have sold long ago.
“Beating” is a very strong word for what actually happened during the past 60 years.
I am sorry but that is a shocking assertion. Can you back that up with any data?
What government research led the Wright brothers to fly the first plane?Henry Ford creating the production line? Bell labs to invent the transistor? Intel to create the microprocessor? IBM the PC? Jobs create the iPhone? I could go on an on. Yes technology is sometimes created by government research usually for military contracts. But that to is spurred by capitalism as the government pays military contractors handsomely for these inventions.
What does beating have to do it? They lost. The Astros were beating the Nationals in the World Series but the Nationals are still World Series champions and that’s all that matters. Furthermore if that’s all you have to use as proof for the USSR is something from 60 years ago you’re just reinforcing my point
WHEN there was a strong USSR, they were beating us, or if you like, kicking our butts. Obviously not in the last 30 years since there wasn’t USSR any longer. But we’re still using their tech from that era.
The USSR collapse due to economical faults driven in part by their over extension in an attempt to technologically surpass the U.S.
U.S. equipment and technology was just as capable as anything USSR put out, but more reliable (albeit, at a slightly steeper cost). The entire USSR failed trying to economically keep up. I wouldn’t call that “beating” anything.
