One Pay Calc not capitalizing TTL

@littleviolette
I did a one pay recently and noticed the One Pay Calc here is roughly 150 off from my contract.

The Reason? Because when you click One Pay , it doesn’t capitalize (At least for mine) the Acquisition, Dealer, Government Fee or Sales Tax on Incentives.

The Depreciation / Rent Charge changes because of the missing money.

So 8566 becomes 10506
And 3335 becomes 3432.
And Taxes shifts from 1573 to 1080 (Because There should be $543 rolled up into the 8566)

I also noticed a $5 difference on my non One Pay but I don’t have any pictures to back that up.

Just an Item to put on the ‘Tech Debt’ list.

Ive seen one pays handle capitalizing of fees in many different ways. It seems like theres actually a lot of freedom in how a deal does it which can end up making a difference in rent charge paid, etc.

Well then we need a selector for that.

Pay as Capitalized or Don’t pay as Capitalized, Hyundai CA definitely capitalizes it.

I have seen this vary within a brand/state based on how a dealer checked boxes.

I usually bump the fees on the calculator for Hyundai to get close to the true 1-pay. I’ve seen this before too.

There’s actually no need to capitalize any of those in a one-pay.

They can all be paid from the cash lump sum of the OTP rather than be capped for no reason.
