That actually doesn’t mean anything as all loaners are always registered and tagged, at least from what I’ve seen. Otherwise, I don’t think they be legally driven on public roads (test drives notwithstanding).

Carfax doesn’t differentiate between corporate owners. It doesn’t know whether the corp is the dealer or any random corp that leased that car. Only corp vs personal vs rental fleet.

That dealer is not known for playing ball, only hardball. That whole area is tough for some reason. Had to go all the way to Santa Barbara once to get a car from Oxnard. Same ownership, SB was willing, Oxnard wasn’t.

With a walkway balloon, it’s no more risk than a lease.
If anything it’s better than MSD on a MBFS lease if they consider a total loss to be a default.
