It’s fantastic. Wife misses some storage room in the rear from the Carnival, the center console storage allocation is not ideal, and it has some ridiculous blindspots from the b-pillar, but other than that, it’s remarkably comfortable, drives great, etc.

No need. Itll recline like that with the 3rd row up. The 2nd row space in the ev9 is gigantic.
The driver’s seat and passenger’s seat also recline like that.

I’ve been praising Kia for awhile now. They make a solid product for a fair price these days. The carnival is one of the uglier minivans on the outside but for the price they’re hard to beat for all the features they offer even in base models. They hold value pretty well too. Ev9 is very nice and the discounts on them now are getting up there.
I think they should have changed their name. People still think of Kia very negatively from their past. When siennas were near impossible to get at msrp I switched a lot of customers to carnival and they were very happy with them.

Nah, leased it. Theres no reason to finance these with the really low mfs.
Agreed. Everyone I know with one would have never considered the Sienna or Ody. They got the carnival specifically because it’s the least minivan looking minivan
I cannot for the life of me, understand why manufacturers feel the need to put the ugliest rims on EV’s… otherwise a nice vehicle.

Range. Apparently taking the plastic off my lucid is going to lower the range 10-20 miles. Worth it though bc it looks way better without the dumb plastic

I wish the evgo stations here looked like that. Drove by today just to make sure I have free charging and there was 8 cars waiting for 3 plug…
I haven’t seen any EV with a low enough depreciation that it be worth it imo.
This will only get worse once all of these Polestars and Lucids/Rivians flood these few stations. I’m ok waiting for a Supercharger but once more EV get access to the SC it will only get as bad for Teslas.
