Off Topic Landfill 5

Can you do 0 DAS, the EV rebate, the loyalty rebate, the mindfulness rebate and delivery to home for letting it go deal? Base MF, 27% off and some window tint thrown in with floor mats? I will only let it go for these and the blue interior with manual transmission.

I’m guessing this is for kicks?

But without a lick of irony - if anyone sees this and wants to reach out I’m quite seriously still looking for a Polestar 2 or a Lyriq. I’ve seen most of the 23 RZ’s are dried up but I’d even take one of those.

My EUV’s lease is up June 3 and I’m going to be making SOME next-move for my family’s third car.

Mock me all you want, but I wasn’t trying to make this difficult for Mike - exactly the opposite.

Just give me the numbers. My hand is literally twitching to sign. Something.

Somebody – anybody?

Ok, will be nice. So brokers aren’t sales staff at a dealer. They are not going to walk you through everything or help you pick out a car (unless they are bored or really helpful or just being super nice. I will admit, I have made my mistakes thinking brokers are like dealer sales or etc.)

This is a really good thing because you going to get a pretty good deal most of the time.

You best shot is to figure out what ride you want and if you can’t close the deal yourself, engage the broker on their deal for exactly which ride you want. Patience and understanding is a virtue here.

You really want to do your research and then engage the broker when you know what you want.

Again, am totally guilty of not understanding this, probably because I am retarded. Perhaps we can add this to the read me sticky (does anyone actually read this).

I’m just kind of confused what you think I’m doing here? Kicking tires for no reason?

I’m comparison shopping by price - I need real numbers on what’ll cost to lease these things. Is that generally allowed? Because that’s how I intend on making my buying decision here.

I can’t imagine I’m the only EV lessee not exactly… shopping by desire?

I don’t have any of these postered up in the man-cave that I MUST have, that’s just not what this market segment is. They’re mildly inconvenient family haulers being subsidized by massive incentive programs. That’s my interest.

I just need actual lease prices in front of me to make a decision with. If the p2 works out to be significantly cheaper in my case than the lyriq, confirming the way my numbers look right now, I’m probably going that way.

But yeah, I really mean it here - I’d deeply appreciate whichever broker would actually take the time invested to rough up a quote for me on both of them. So I can make a decision between what’s in front of me in the market, with their assistance.

If that’s really a bizarre ask, I guess I’ve departed from the norm and… doubly appreciate it?

I am sorry bro I took the bait. I am drinking miller high life, making pot roast, and watching a street fighter tournament and hoping Aronchi doesn’t blacklist me to brokers for responding in his thread. I wish you the most best of luck. I think you should abandon your EV dreams and get a C8.

Probably have to get rid of the (other?) Cadillac for the Ms. to let that happen

CTS towards the Corvette sounds like a good time. Shame the government isn’t paying us to buy those too

Enjoy the pot roast :joy:

I give you credit for even responding to a text that was sent at 130am. Deciding to hit send at 1:30am on that text told me everything I needed to know about that guy. Kudos to you for even entertaining him to begin with. I would have just deleted that text.

I sent a buddy a meme showing customers cannot wait legit 1 min then says:

“Sorry you didn’t respond quickly so I took my business elsewhere” lol

It’s a text. Reply to it whenever you see fit.

Leaving me hanging 48+ hours, later? And berate me after nudging you about it? Don’t appreciate that. That’s all my comments here were sharing.

I think I’m done explaining my actions or why I think this broker’s attitude rubbed me so wrong I wanted to share it. Go read our messages, that’s all there were - I left nothing out.

Later folks!

Have you swung by a Cadillac dealer to look at a lyric and asked them to put together a 4 square on a Polestar while they’re at it?

This is a very odd request to be making on the business page of someone that doesnt do Cadillac.

I love the “?” After an hour if I don’t respond to a text. That’s my favorite customer…

My phones for business and I have sound off so I don’t care when people message me but don’t expect a response until I get to you. I wouldn’t personally text a broker at 1am bc I don’t know their situation, maybe they have to have sound on for emergencies. If I don’t within a day or 2 then a follow up to make sure I saw your message is totally warranted.

We all try to be very responsive for customers but we all have lives as well and many of us work alone. I prefer the text message system over generic email form inquiries. Just my way, not right or wrong. But text message brokers I guarantee are much faster then the other system so just have some patience.

Or just wait until the morning to hit send in the off chance that your text message is going to wake someone (or someone’s family).

So crazy to assume a business phone number wouldn’t, you know, do that? So fucking entitled, right?

Christ.

I’ll open up the lines on your profession:

So where’s all these “buddies” you mentioned in the texts? Considering you joined 9hrs ago, I’m gonna guess you don’t have any LOL

I’m surprised the admins are letting this continue. At least it’s providing some nice Sunday entertainment LOL

He doesn’t do Cadillac, which is why it’s on his sheets right?

What’s the over/under on “your mom”?

Must be a new addition. Isn’t listed as a brand he does on his review thread.

Engineer it is then. I’ve still got it.

The definition of an entitled broker right here.
