While I was on my way to work (about 400km) I noticed that my car smokes a lot when accelarating. Car seems to be working normally, although the consumption seems to be somewhat higher. There is no warning lights. After reading some forums I came to the conclusion that it is probably caused by blocked egr valve. Some people said that the car would work just fine by just unplugging egr power, do you think it could be an temporary fix for the drive home? I’ll be sure to check and probably chance the air filter first and hope that its just that.
