Odd Mazda loyalty question

I recently received a mailer with a $750 owner loyalty reward from Mazda. This is probably because I owned a 6 that got totaled just a few months after being purchased brand new, so there’s no subsequent owner.

Question is, will I qualify for loyalty? There’s no Mazda currently registered to me, but I don’t know if they need that or they’ll go off Mazda’s records or what. Anyone know?

In my experience, they asked to see the vehicle registration as proof.

When was it totaled…6 months ago or 6 years ago?

Valid registration or insurance card that matches the address where the vehicle you intend on purchasing/leasing will be registered

Just over 3 years now.
