First time I’ve run into this before. Sent a local Kia dealer an offer for a 24 month 12k lease, and they came back with a 36 month 10k mile lease sheet with no markups, buy-rate MF, and the discount I was after. Im stoked, except the 24 month has higher lease cash and would run about $60 less per month by my calculations, even at 12k miles
I tell the dealer that’s great, but I really want a 24 month, 12k mile lease and if they could confirm the numbers for me. This was last Thursday. Since then I’ve reached out 3 times, each time the sales person says they will get back to me by the EOD with the numbers but then nothing. Silence.
The dealer is about 1.5 hours away so I’m not keen on making the drive until I have firm numbers in hand. Car has been on the lot for 250+ days.
is this a shitty salesperson or something else?
