Hey guys,
I’m currently evaluating a lease deal for a Mercedes GLE 350 in NY and wanted to get some feedback on whether this is a good deal or if there’s room to do better.
My Offer (NY)
-
Model: GLE 350 4MATIC (AWD)
-
Condition: Loaner with 1.8k miles
-
Term: 39 months
-
Miles: 10k/year
-
Monthly: $665
-
DAS: $5,500
Forum Reference (Pre-Negotiated Listing)
There’s a pre-negotiated deal listed here in the forum that I’m using only as a benchmark:
-
$633/mo pre-tax (about $678 with tax)
-
$3,200 DAS
-
7.5k miles/year
-
RWD (not 4MATIC)
-
Location: California
Adjustments to make it comparable:
-
+$20/mo to go from 7.5k → 10k miles (≈ $698/mo)
-
Adding +$2k DAS drops the payment to around $646/mo
-
Plus ~$2k transport cost to bring the car to NY
-
Still not AWD
My thinking
Once everything is adjusted, the numbers end up very close, but the NY deal:
-
Is local
-
Has 4MATIC
-
Avoids transport hassle/cost
Given today’s market, does $665/mo with $5.5k DAS on a 39-month lease for a GLE 350 4MATIC loaner sound solid for NY?
Or do you think there’s still room to push for a better deal?
Appreciate any feedback.
