[NoVA] '18 Q50 Luxe Hybrid AWD or Q50 Luxe Sport

Are there any folks on here from NoVA or MD that have gotten a deal on a Q50 lease recently?

Thanks in advance!

If you don’t mind going through a broker, try @nyclife and get your car from NJ/PA.

I’m normally not onboard the Q50 train, I think it’s overated with old tech

BUT…for a law abiding NoVA lease it is great. We all pay annual car taxes that are between 3%-5% of NADA value (depends on county and value of car). These Q50s hold value exceptionally poorly. Example, a 2017, Q50 2.0 premium model has the same NADA vale has a 4 cylinder Accord EX-L with Navi.

People talk about the 4.15% upfront as a problem but the annual car tax in VA is really the problem. Cars that don’t hold value well are solution (on a lease at least)

@EC99 Exactly. I was looking at buying a model 3 dual motor until I realized it would be over 2k a year in personal property tax (PPT) in Alexandria.

Any updates yet?

Hoping for something in the next month.

I’m also looking at Infiniti for similar reasons NoVA is not friendly to people with expensive cars. I’m looking around for QX50 deals, if I see something on a Q50 will post.

Avoid Passport Infiniti in Alexandria.

This is what Passport (Neil Fernandez) offered me a few days ago, which is an absolute joke of an offer. When I explained to him what other dealerships up north were offering (22% or more off of MSRP), he has not responded since.

"It looks like if you are about to pay your taxes, tags and fees up front which is about $3500, you will be at a payment of $498/month. Here are the particulars…

Q50 sport awd
MSRP 51k
Sale Price $44224.00
Residual is 48% at $25,363.20
Money Factor is 0.00003 (which works out to be approximately 0.07%) "

I went back and forth with several in our area, passport, jim coleman, tysons, etc. The best deal I have been offered is at chantilly sheehy. The GSM is great. He was finally willing to get close to what I wanted but going to wait to see how this month is. I’d check them out if you haven’t already. They were at least 30-40 a month lower than all other dealers I worked with.
I’ll keep you posted when I finalize.

Sorry no updates. Went with an Acura RDX.

The lowest I went on a Q50 was $400 a month (zero down all fees and taxes rolled into payment) on a 42k MSRP car. It included some sort of employee incentive thing, so it depends on where you work whether they will offer that deal. I also didn’t try too hard on those deals, so you may be able to go lower.

Last month I got $399/month inclusive of LA tax (9.5%) and $0 down on a Hybrid, sticker $52,xxx. Current Infiniti Q50 owner so there was some loyalty cash.

Didn’t do it because it’s almost 2019 and I don’t want a 2013 car.

2013 car? What? 9.5% tax? Holy shit!

Just referring to the fact that the Q50 is woefully outdated. It was introduced in late 2013 and nothing has changed.

LA tax is 9.5% but the car leases here are so cheap, no biggie.
