[NorCal: Bay Area] 2018 Volvo XC90 T5 Momentum AWD

Hey folks,

New around here and still learning the ropes. I got quoted this and doesn’t seem like the best but wanted to hear thoughts?

Year, Make, Model, and Trim: 2018 Volvo XC90 T5 Momentum AWD

MSRP: [$56330]
Selling Price: [$50,830]
Rebates: [$750 A-Plan]
Trade-in: [$0]

Months: [36]
Annual Mileage: [10,000]
MF: [.00157]

Residual: [$32,108]
Zip Code: [95037]
Sales Tax Rate: [9%]

Bank Fee: $995 (Working on lowering this)
Quoted monthly: $748.85 w/ Tax (Will be slightly lower as MF was not used for this quote )
$0 additional down payment
Drive Off: $1472.60

Thoughts?

You should probably provide monthly payment and drive offs…

Done! Sorry about that. Numbers a little skewed as the MF has changed since the quote.

Is there no Volvo lease cash for the XC90 now? Last month it was $3000/$2500. You should goto Volvo’s website, build car and use the “payment estimator” with your zip code to see if there are other incentives for you to utilize.

I think the sale price includes the $2500 incentive.

They are not giving you all the incentives then. A-plan is suppose to give you invoice selling price, which is 6% off MSRP. Use that figure with the $2500 and $750 incentives and you get a selling price of $49700. Looks as if they are selling you the car above sticker or keeping part of the incentives and selling it to you at sticker. Either way this is a bad deal.

So it looks like the pattern of dealers giving out crappy deals in the bay area continues. People on here have mentioned it was cheaper to fly go Southern Cal and drive back with an XC90.

Awesome thanks. I’m actually working with an old friend of mine in another state who works with volvo for the same config now.

Kind of what I thought about the Bay Area. Thanks so much for the feedback.
