Lame question and a bit irrelevant but here goes.
I am not an iPhone user but I want to buy one of those Airpods as a gift. I just saw the Airpods Pro (2nd gen) are on sale on ebay for $199. Could people with experience suggest which version of Airpods one should get since there are a couple.
Pretty good comparisons below. I have the Pro Gen 2 and they are worth it although all of them have been great.

I can’t commit to this style at all.
I see people drop one on the floor of an airplane, and then pick it up and shove it right back into their ear. 
Don’t drop it and always carry alcohol wipes.
Over the ear are great for planes, but if you do what I said your problem is solved.
I don’t do over-the-ear either, they take up too much room in my laptop bag (and I don’t want to strap two Egg McMuffins to my head).

When you’re flying out of Philly, you just have 2 choices American or spirit. And for a sub 3 hour flight, I’m suffering thru it lol
For sub-3 hours I guess that is true, but you can get a Delta, SW or United connection out of Philly as well.
There’s your first mistake. Flying out of PHL.

I took Frontier once because the only nonstop options to Denver were United and Frontier, and United’s schedule wasn’t as convenient.
Operative word in that sentence is once.
They should rebrand and call themselves Skyhound.
