How long is NJ MVC currently taking to send titles?
Average now a days is two weeks, once everything is processed
The title doesn’t transfer in a lease transfer.
In any case, MVC is unlikely to be your bottleneck if the lessor is experienced at sending the right paperwork the first time. Sold a car to a dealer where payment would be issued upon “title check” or whatever it’s called and it took 1 business day. Pretty sure it’s digitized.

I’m going to answer my own question in case anyone else is interested. 8 weeks. 8 weeks for NJMVC to transfer a title. There’s gotta be a more efficient way…
6 months ago, I received the title after about 3 weeks. I also transferred from NY to NJ
