NJ Hyundai Elantra SE w/ Popular pkg deal $20k MSRP - 36/10K $79 month INCLUDING tax

So I followed the “Looking for cheap lease” thread. I found a dealer that has an exuberant amount of Elantra SE’s. Did everything over the phone.

I told him I qualify for the $1000 uber (not in military, don’t have a hyundai now - so don’t qualify for “valued owner coupon”, and I am not a recent grad).

They called me back several hours later and said we can have you at $107 a month including tax (6.875%) with first month due at signing and 35 payments left of $107. MSRP of car is $20,035. With bonus drive I qualify for my payment is effectively $93 month INCLUDING tax.

I don’t have selling price or anything right now as they are wrapping up the day, but I am going in tomorrow at 11 am EST. If all goes well I will post their info here. Seems like a good deal… I wanted to be at $100 or less - but I think this deal is about as good as it gets.

replicated deal for a friend on 7/18/17:

Just got a better deal for a friend because he had Boost up $500 + bonus drive $500 + uber ($1000)

$20,090 MSRP on 36/10K lease

$93 mo including tax (6.875%) - $350 due at signing (DMV and 1st month)

NET PAYMENT w/ Bonus drive check comes to $79 month INCLUDING TAX w/ $350 due at signing

Unbelievable deal. Dealer said they won’t do another one. They had a really slow weekend, and week so far so they did the deal. Its the same deal I got but he has boost up so the extra $500 off is good for $14/mon 93-14 = $79!

Anyone have thoughts on this deal?

Yeah - where are you located? lol

North/Central NJ near Basking Ridge.

Which dealer???

I am in northern NJ and would be interested in this deal as well. Please post your experience/deal you get and delear name if you are able to share. thanks.

donno if you can use boostup and bonusdrives but might want to look into that as well for added savings.

Thanks for your post. My company participates in Bonus Drive. That is $500 back to me and separate from the dealer.
Effectively would make this $93 including tax with $107 due at signing.

I am new here. Thank you for the wealth of information on this forum. I am looking for a new commuter vehicle for a 2 year lease, 15,000 miles per year…this deal looks amazing

Anyway I can locate one at this deal in Florida? The dealer fees are killing the deals down here.

I am here now folks. Let the games begin. I’ll let you all know how this turns out now that I am here.

hopefully its quick in/out. good luck

Updates. I wanted popular package which increases msrp by 800 bux. 20,010 is my msrp.

500 due at signing

And they lowered popular package to $107 including tax. 107 was base, 119 popular.

I will also do bonus drive making my payment
$93 month.

Writing it up now.

If I didn’t want popular they were going to do $97 a month including tax. With bonus drive my payment would have been $82 a month.

Asking if they want me to share.

i want lol 20 characterssssss

Hi all,

The dealer is Towne Hyundai in Denville, NJ.

They said they can replicate the deal - keep in mind this requires you to sign up as an uber driver so you get the $1000 uber certificate.

Also, to drop it this low, they used certificates that Hyundai gives dealers… I assume this is similar to the IVC rebates or tags Chevy uses. My deal took like 2-3 of these certificates to drop it that low.

They said they will run out of these certificates by the end of next week (like Friday most likely).

If you are going to do a deal there ask for Joe Ippolito - he is the #1 salesman in the country for Hyundai. He has 3 assistants - they will help you most likely at first. The manager there is Jeff Angulo, but he said to have anyone to duplicate this to ask for Joe - so don’t ask for Jeff because he’s the “manager”.

Did you have loyalty?

Nope or that would’ve saved me another $500 or around 12 bux a month.

Can you please post selling price plus Rebates plus MF for the rest of us. Thank you. Saw you posted MSRP.

I am picking it up Wednesday - I will post the contract once I get it home.

How does the bonus drive $500 work exactly?

Northeast this month has $3750 manufacturer rebates on Elantra. I am in Chicago, and we only have $2500 which changes the deal. Check the website for your zip.

With the $3750 mfg rebates, Uber Bonus and Bonus Drive, the SE comes to $128 per month at MSRP. Op looks to have gotten $1800 dealer discount (when you factor in the added popular package).

You can also add in the Boostup discount which is easy to get another $500 off.

This deal may not be attainable for those of us with the $1250 less manufacturer rebates. That would need another $1250 dealer discount.

Yes, I’m interested in info on the bonus drive as well
