Nissan MAXIMA! Anybody have numbers?

Thanks in Advance. I’m extremely new to leasing. Been reading here trying to familiarize myself with the terms and strategies. You Guys seem GREAT at negotiating. I am extremely interested in leasing a 2017 Nissan Maxima (Platinum-Pearl White). I was wondering if anybody here had any numbers from their Maxima deal or from a “recent” Maxima negotiation that they could share with me ?
So far I’ve only been negotiating price. Currently at 36.8K from the 41,5K MSRP and I live in Texas. ANY tips would help me greatly. THANK YOU GOOD PEOPLE.

.00003 MF and 51% residual for all trims. for 36/12

Selling price, before rebates - shoot for 12 percent off. $41,500 - 12% = $36,520. Look up your lease rebate on Maxima but it should be $3,425. Take away 9 percent of the rebate for tax and take away $595 acquisition fee gives you $2520 discount for the total rebate value instead of the $3,425. Say your all inclusive sales price nets to about $34k. Payment would then be about $360 before sales tax (which you might get screwed on).

I can’t recall if they have changed the Texas lease sales tax laws or not, but that will change your payment compared to other states for the worse.

Leasing at the top end of a model is typically a bad value - you should probably compare to other options such as Q50 or QX60 or ES350 or TLX to make sure you’re getting enough for your money at that price range.

I helped my friend with this deal on an SL a couple weeks ago.

Plat trim will prob be in the 4s with tax so look at the Q50 for only a tad bit more.

So Driving the initial (Discounted) price down along with the Money Factor the best way to come out ahead on my anticipated lease deal?
Any other methods that you very well informed members here would suggest me attempting with the dealer to come out ahead on this?

**WHICH Manufactures still have Multiple Security Deposit programs that can be used ??

Yes😏…I need Schooling.
With your help I can get there.

You don’t need multiple security deposits on a Maxima - as the above poster mentioned the money factor is .00003, which equals .072% interest (maybe a dollar or two per month of interest, which becomes irrelevant to the deal).

The only thing you really need to confirm is the discount before rebate, and then make sure everything adds up to the correct payment with the lease calculator.

Trying to lease a Midnight Edition SR. Anyone know what I can try to get the Cap Cost down to?

I see they have the $3250 rebate plus another $1000 on package savings

See my two posts above on the Maxima SL, including the one with the picture. 10-12% off before rebates is a strong discount on Nissan. I think you’ll want to ignore the ‘package savings’ on Midnight Edition unless it is bonus cash. I think they are saying the spoiler, headlights, wheels, etc. would retail for $1000 more than stated MSRP if added separately.

Awesome thanks. Here’s an initial offer I received this morning. I’m only interested in the leasing option, obviously…Any chance I can get that $35034 down a little more? I would like to be under $400

I’m not sure how rebates are taxed in FL (if at all), but I get right at about $400/month including 9% sales tax for 36/months, assuming a 12% discount off MSRP, inclusive of gimmick dealer fee. I think it might be difficult to go very far below $400 on that particular vehicle.

$40775 MSRP - 12% discount = $35,882
$2725 lease rebate - 10% rebate tax = $2450 net
$595 acquisition fee
Net sales price = $34,000
Residual = $20795
Payment pre-tax ~ $367 = ~ $400 including tax
