🚀 Nissan Lease Deals CA - IN-STOCK READY TO GO ~ EZ Auto Group

Just sent it thanks

I am interested in the Murano SV lease but why is the drive off so high? I have seen much lower. I’m based in norcal 94401

Most of the brokers around here just use $3k as a baseline. Depending on your credit, you have the option for less DAS if you prefer, with a corresponding increase in the monthly.

I paid $1500 DAS for a Pathfinder SL premium with luxury package from @Jeff_BeachCitiesAuto. There were only 1st month, normal dealer fees and DMV fees. Doesn’t that mean the dealer is tacking on an implicit down payment or marking up ridiculous fees to make the non DAS included monthlies look better? This is what the BS scammers at Auto Ninjas do. There’s no way normal fees + 1st month should be anywhere close to $3k. Does the dealer or OEM benefit from the downpayment?

Drive off amount = the amount you have to pay to drive away the car, this amount can be anything and can be 0
The drive off in “Drive offs only” are sometimes used to indicate only inception fees aka what you’ve mentioned (DMV, 1st pmt, dealer doc…).
So no one is wrong here, your “drive-off” is not the same “drive off” of what EZ is saying above.

Ah gotcha, “inception fees” was the term I was looking for.

So Drive Off Amount excluding the inception fees: isn’t this then the cap cost reduction in the form of a down payment?

No drive off amount includes all fees. We use $3000 as a baseline especially since on 18 month leases every $1000 is a huge difference

Surely all of the fees do not add up to $3k? Isn’t there a plug going on somewhere? Aren’t you basically adding additional cap cost reduction to lower the monthlies?

There should be a rule on marketplace that makes breaking down the DAS mandatory across fees, cap cost reduction, DMV, docs, etc.

Sorry if these are not correct or my questions are ignorant and taking up this thread

I think you mean “on top of”. Answer is yes.
So the $3k is all fees (inception) + whatever the amount is till $3k, and that amount is your cap cost reduction. (the portion on top of the inception in the 3k is your cap cost reduction)
The thing is… you can calculate your approx monthly by doing some simple math. Say if you only want to put 1k down, but the ad shows 3k down, you take 3k-1k which is 2k and you divide that by whatever the rental period is (in this case 18 months) and you add that number to the advertised monthly payment. It’s not the exact number but you can get a rough idea.
This is how you calculate effective monthly pmt too, just roll all fees into monthly (aka 0 drive-off).

So if you have more questions you should just PM him instead.

Yes I realize that I can get effective true monthlies but I want to know what goes into the DAS. IE If the dealer is charging marked up doc fees or other BS fees I’m not supporting that shit. Broker probably gets a kick back. 3k DAS by default for an 18 month lease is ridiculous. Is it that much to ask for a fee breakdown before you get the leasing sheet at the dealer?

Deleted due to not being constructive (deleted by myself)

The zero cap cost makes it much easier to compare.

Ok man. Are marked up dealer fees and acquisition fees really that much of a non-issue? Maybe you have unlimited money so non issue for you. I just want to know I’m not being ripped off and how much is cap cost reduction. Is it that much to ask? Brokers just hide to show nice non-effective monthlies for dumb buyers. Tax/county fee differences are not material i’m not asking for stuff down to the cent and I’m not a moron I can calc the effective cost. I just want to know the breakout

Even if this is an “issue” (which I think not), it is not EZ Auto specific. As Rick707 pointed out, almost all broker ads are done this way. I would suggest Mod to move this discussion to another thread so that this thread can serve its purpose.

You are right, we really shouldn’t post this stuff in a marketplace ad. I also think this should all be moved or deleted. I’ll delete my original post, it’s not really constructive anyways.

Does 2023 Leaf get the $7,500 pass through with leases? And what are the current deals in the Los Angeles area? (90035) SV Plus 18/24/36 10K? Or is Ariya the better deal?

Thank you! Yes of course there will be cap cost reduction on these deals. We use $2000-$3000 total due at signing on most of these lease quote since 80% of deals we have always done people used that amount out of pocket.

0 das $435 +tax 18/10k
$3k DAS $269 +tax 18/10k

There is a bit of a big difference when you do 0 DAS. Ever client has the option to lower then DAS to whatever they desire to put down.

So that being said this is a on going topic.

ANYONE WITH DAS ISSUES. PLEASE TEXT/CALL FOR A QUOTE WITH ONLY FEES AT SIGNING!
