yes that is true due to the crappy heater (no hybrid heat pump in the S). But it works for my case so i jumped on it, plus got a killer evaluation for my old car.

We leased a Leaf S with 110v charger back in May in Pennsylvania under the same national program that is being offered today although we did a little better.
The program was $199 plus tax with $2,000 down (maybe a little more with tax and tags). We ended up out the door for $164 plus tax with $1000 down. In short it was $11500 from Nissan for tax incentive and rebate plus 4,000 dealer discount. We wished we had the gone for the SV for the larger battery however this is working out to be a perfect car for my wife to run around the area.
