I wonder how much the new Armada Platinum Reserve will be?
Probably good time to gamble on their stock imho, they have finally two competitive products (Armada and Murano) launching and a new chairman coming onboard for their North America business. At under $9bn market cap, they are probably also a good target to be bought out. Unlike here, they have a pretty decent reputation and volume in Asia and Europe, which should still be worth something decent.

All that he left in his desk for Saikawa was an invoice for an oversized instrument crate.

The TLDR is that the first time buyer is willing to pay for all the options while the second time buyer is happy with a “few options” that perhaps comes on the “limited” trim.
FWIW I too was playing around on the LH Ratefinder Calculator the other night looking at several different Pathfinder trims to see if I could convince myself. I did not look at Rock Creek b/c while it is certainly nice I knew it was very unlikely to land within my value scale relative to the other trim levels.

It’s far too late for actual quality to move the profitability needle any more.
GM, Ford, etc actually made some good products in now-canceled segments but nobody bought them except bottom feeders.

Agree - its just the rest are so boring…I think the sweet spot must be the SL? Also no AWD versions left around me (unless a Rock Creek).
Don’t do it the pathfinder is the worse vehicle in this segment.
