How long will Nissan Financial allow you to extend a lease? 6 Month’s? Thanks all

Call them and ask. As of last year they were doing 3 months + 3 months but banks are changing their policies all the time. Can’t take anything on the internet for granted.
I was allowed to extend my lease an additional 3 months but you can only make the request 3 months or less before maturity. They might let you extend an additional 2-3 months after but they want to know why you need an extension and what information are you getting from dealers since they want you to purchase/lease another Infiniti or Nissan.
Keep in mind your new extension price will include tax and if you plan on purchasing the car after your extension, it won’t be count against your residual value.

I just extended my Hyundai Ioniq lease, and my understanding is that part of the payment will go towards reducing the RV. There is tax, then there is the rent/finance/use charge and the remaining amount goes towards reducing the RV.
So I guess either Nissan is special in this regards, or maybe Hyundai is?
It varies by captive as to if the additional payments reduce the RV. Some do and some do not.
