I was logged into my NMAC or Nissan Finance account for my leased vehicle and happened to notice this statement about EV’s. Now I don’t have a Nissan EV car myself but found it peculiar that NMAC is seemingly forbidding the purchase of EV cars at lease maturity. Usually a purchase option is quite standard. Not sure what their reasoning is.

It’s a new policy. Following Tesla & Ford on that one.
It’s ok. Take the leaf back. Pretty sure it’s not worth the 80 or 85 or whatever residual is in the contract 
If there’s any equity they want every single cent of it.
