Nissan dealer doesn't do one-pay lease?

Hi,

just had a chat with a nearby Nissan dealer and he told me they don’t do one-pay lease, with no explanation given.

Is this common for Nissan dealers, despite NMAC offering it?
What’s the reason?

And how find out upfront if a Nissan dealer does one-pay lease or not?

Thank you.

A lot of dealers don’t want to learn how to do it, so they just say no, it’s not offered.

Only good option is to ask if they’ll do it, and if they say no, move on.

When I leased my Ariya back in April, I asked about One-Pay. The finance manager texted the GM of the store who said they hadn’t done one of those in a very long time, so it was a no go. The price was good so I didn’t care that much, but with the OnePay MSD enhancement, it would have saved $65/mth (if I could have taught them how to do MSDs as well).

However, given how they screwed up the payoff of my Infiniti lease that I sold to them (which had MSDs attached) and all the aggravation I had to go through to get that money back, I am kind of over the MSD thing.

Takes forever to fund. My Nissan store said only 1-2 a month.

Yes 1pays are usually a huge pain and easy to make mistakes on, especially if a dealer isn’t accostumed to doing it

Interesting, I wasn’t aware of it.

Is it feasible to look for a greater dealer discount then, if the dealer refuses to do a one-pay lease with MSDs?

You can ask for anything you want … give it a try.
